Dr. Wassermann received his bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1991. He then did further coursework at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida while working part-time as an Orthopedic Technician at Lighthouse Orthopedic Group. Dr. Wassermann then attended the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. As part of Dr. Wassermann's clinical training he rotated through Edgewater Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. While working at Edgewater, Dr. Wassermann did morning patient rounds with the hospital's medical interns, observed orthopedic surgical procedures and treated patients in the hospital's geriatric outpatient clinic Dr. Wassermann received his doctorate in chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in 1998.

He then returned to Florida for a six month internship at Lighthouse Orthopedic Group in Boca Raton. During his internship, Dr. Wassermann assisted in patient care, reviewed MRI films, reviewed X-rays and observed orthopedic surgical procedures. Dr. Wassermann began his solo practice in Davie, Florida in 1999 and has been serving the surrounding community since.
